Tur-Sinai, Naphtali Herz (Torczyner, Harry)
(1886-1973)
    Israeli philologist and Bible scholar. He was born in Lemberg. In 1933 he went to Palestine, where he taught at the Hebrew University. He wrote commentaries to the book of Job, a study of Proverbs, essays on biblical texts, rabbinic Hebrew, and problems in the history of the Hebrew language, and a work on the Lachish Letters.
